Created by Newks Hot Sauce owner and Orono, Maine native (now based in Portland, Oregon), this bold blueberry hot sauce pays tribute to his Maine roots. Made with Wyman’s Wild Blueberries and in partnership with the University of Maine, it celebrates the Maine Black Bears and the iconic taste of Maine’s wild blueberries.
HEAT: Mild (Our Mildest Sauce)
INGREDIENTS: Wyman’s Wild Blueberries, Wyman’s Blueberry Concentrate, Water, Molasses, Lemon Puree, Habaneros, Ginger, Salt, Pepper, Xanthan Gum.
FLAVOR PROFILE: Sweet and bright, with bold blueberry and lemon notes. Almost like a pourable blueberry jam, with gentle hints of ginger and habanero.
